Harley-Davidson Unleashes the 2025 CVO Road Glide RR: A Race-Ready Beast

Updated: Mar 6

Yesterday, Jaime and I rolled into Glendale Harley-Davidson to catch up with our buddy Rex and a few of the other good folks there. What we didn’t expect was to get hit with one of the biggest announcements in Harley history—the 2025 CVO Road Glide RR. And let me tell you, this thing is an absolute beast.

A Limited-Edition Powerhouse

Harley-Davidson is only producing 131 units of the Road Glide RR, making it one of the most exclusive baggers ever built. And with a price tag of $110,000, this isn’t just another touring bike—it’s a statement. This machine is heavily influenced by the King of the Baggers race series, bringing track-level performance to the street.

The Heart of a Racer

At the core of the Road Glide RR is a 131 cubic-inch (2,146cc) Screamin’ Eagle engine, pushing out a jaw-dropping 153 horsepower and 150 lb-ft of torque. That’s serious power—enough to make even seasoned riders rethink what a bagger can do. With an aluminum swingarm, a full Öhlins suspension setup, and Brembo racing brakes, this bike is more than just good looks—it’s built to dominate.

Inspired by Racing Excellence

If you follow the King of the Baggers series, you know how these bikes are transformed into full-blown race machines. The Road Glide RR bridges that gap between track and street, much like how a Porsche 911 GT3 RS takes racing DNA and refines it for road use. Harley isn’t just dipping its toes into performance baggers—they’re going all in.

Seeing is Believing

As soon as we left the dealership, our phones started lighting up with videos of the new Road Glide RR. Every angle of this thing screams performance, from its aggressive stance to the track-inspired components.

This is exactly why Jaime and I love stopping by local dealerships like Ventura BMW, Pomona BMW, and Glendale Harley-Davidson—you never know when you’ll get the inside scoop on the next big thing.

Would You Buy One?

If you had the cash, would you throw down for the CVO Road Glide RR? At this price point, it’s definitely for the die-hard Harley and performance fans, but there’s no denying—it’s one of the most badass motorcycles Harley has ever built. Hopefully, the next time the Harley-Davidson demo truck rolls through, we’ll get a chance to see (or even ride) one in person.

Let us know what you think. Would you take this over a traditional Road Glide? Or is this just Harley showing off? Drop your thoughts in the comments below!
